Poster Presentation Topics
Posters should address a topic which aligns with the definition of 21st Century Literacies, found here (NCTE, 2016).  21st Century Literacies attend to the need to:
  • Develop proficiency and fluency with the tools of technology;
  • Build intentional cross-cultural connections and relationships with others so to pose and solve problems collaboratively and strengthen independent thought;
  • Design and share information for global communities to meet a variety of purposes;
  • Manage, analyze, and synthesize multiple streams of simultaneous information;
  • Create, critique, analyze, and evaluate multimedia texts;
  • Attend to the ethical responsibilities required by these complex environments.
These topics lend themselves well to research within the fields of education, technology, information, communication, and rhetoric.  Submit your poster proposal here: https://goo.gl/forms/yoxgxV8jiiYfwXlk2

For questions regarding poster submissions, please contact Dr. Shelbie Witte (shelbie.witte@okstate.edu).
